Dr. Maria Santullo Richman
Dr. Maria Santullo Richman is a Low Vision and Vision Rehabilitation Optometrist. (NJ State License #5063)A graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she trained in a low vision externship at Philadelphia's Scheie Eye Institute. She is the founder and Chairperson of the Low Vision Committee of NJ Optometric Physicians. In 1999, she received the Special Recognition Award from over 1200 of her peers for her Low Vision Work. She was the president of the Gold Key Honor Society at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. The credentials of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry were granted to Dr. Maria Richman for completing research and practice in Low Vision. She initially practiced in the shore area as a pediatric optometrist, then joined Allegheny General Hospital's Low Vision practice, offering her services to children and adults with visual impairments. Dr. Maria Richman was the Chief Optometrist for Resident Eye Care Associates, a hospital and nursing home based Optometric service. She was consultant to the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind and the Harmarville Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Maria Richman has presented research and lectured to many Optometric, Educational and Rehabilitation conferences. She was involved with exclusive training and research with John Hopkins Low Vision Enhancement System. She is currently providing services as a vision consultant through the N.J. Dr. Sarah E. Lane
Sarah E. Lane, O.D. is an Optometrist who specializes in Vision Therapy and Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation. (NJ Lic. #6103) She works with children who are experiencing learning related vision problems, children who have visual processing difficulties related to developmental delay, adults with function visual problems and people who have suffered traumatic brain injury. She earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Residency Certification in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation from the SUNY State College of Optometry. Dr. Lane also is certified as a Therapeutic Optometrist from the state of New Jersey, allowing her to treat and manage eye disease with medicine. She also works with patients who use contact lenses for visual correction. Dr. Lane is an active member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. Dr. Lane also holds a Certification as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor and teaches at studios in Point Pleasant and Asbury Park.Shore Family Eyecare-Manasquan
Dr. Bardha Fejzo
Dr. Fejzo joined the practice in October 2008 as a recent graduate of the Nova Southeastern School of Optometry in Florida. She adds advanced ocular disease management to our office. Shore Family Eyecare-Manasquan
